Staying Connected: Your Support is Important

This year, over 35,000 people will visit Montreat Conference Center. One of the three national conference centers of the Presbyterian Church (USA), Montreat relies solely upon conference fees and gift support from churches and individuals like you. As we look to the future, we are continually challenged to meet the fundraising goals that make this vibrant ministry possible.

The Montreat Fund Supports:

  • A year-round conference season serving over 14,000 people of all ages and groups from over 1,500 congregations
  • World-class conference leaders
  • Scholarships for conferences
  • The Sunday Summer Worship Series
  • Ministry to children and youth through the Clubs summer day camp
  • The Currie Craft Center & Sally Jones Pottery
  • Robert Lake Park playground
  • Bill Wilde Youth Center
  • Friday Night Barn Dances
  • Sunday evening hymn sings
  • The annual 4th of July celebration
  • Twenty miles of hiking trails in 2,500 acres of protected wilderness
  • Lake Susan, the tennis courts, & the swimming pool
  • A 400 person Volunteer Service Corps
  • A 125+ collegiate summer staff

If you are already a “Patron” of Montreat Conference Center who gives at least $300 annually, thank you for your continued support. If you are not a Patron, we hope you’ll consider becoming one. It is such an important way of staying connected to this “place set apart.” And please note, you may now make gifts to the Montreat Fund online.
