Soul Tending

November 5–8, 2020AdultContinuing Education
A Columbia Theological Seminary Spiritual Formation Program

An Exploration of Spiritual practices for Nourishment and Growth

Every living thing needs nourishment to support its health and growth, and our souls are no different.  The challenges of life are often depleting and distracting to our spiritual health.  Good soul tending requires experimentation with a variety of time tested and newly discovered practices in order to discover those disciplines which feed the spirit and recall us to our true self in God.

In this highly experiential course participants will come to understand their own unique recipe for spiritual practices which sustain them. The course includes an exploration of the difference between belief and practice. A wide variety of spiritual disciplines from a broad spectrum of traditions will be explored.

This course is open to everyone. Credit toward the Certificate in Spiritual Formation will be given to those completing the pre-and post-course writing assignments. We ask that all participate fully in the program.

The program begins at 5:30 pm Thursday evening and concludes at noon on Sunday.
