“Deep calls to Deep”: The Psalms in Transformative Dialogue

April 15–18, 2021AdultContinuing Education
This event is hosted by Columbia Theological Seminary
Important Update: This course has been moved online. Please visit the course page for new dates and information.

The Psalms is the longest, most diverse book of the Bible, so much so that Martin Luther referred to the Psalter as “the little Bible.” In exploring the spiritual depths of the Psalms, we will learn to listen attentively to the ancient, diverse voices registered in the Psalms as they are gathered in worship, reflection, and transformative dialogue.

This course is open to everyone. If you are attending for personal enrichment, we invite you to engage as fully as you can! For those wishing CEU’s or credit towards the Certificate in Spiritual Formation, please engage fully in the book discussion, attend all zoom sessions, and write the final integration paper due 6-8 weeks following the weekend retreat.
