Giving Tuesday at Montreat!

Posted on

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Montreat Conference Center! We hope you have a restful and restorative weekend and enjoy the holiday. Whether you’re an early morning Black Friday shopper or not, we hope you’ll join us this Tuesday, December 3rd in giving back. GivingTuesday is an opportunity to bear witness to our thankfulness and continue to celebrate the gratitude we experience on Thanksgiving Day. Founded in 2012 by the 92nd Street Y in partnership with the United Nations, GivingTuesday is now the largest single day of giving in the world!

At Montreat Conference Center the power of collective giving is easy to see. Gifts to the Montreat Fund shape the very fabric of this place and make possible the many areas that are beloved to all who spend time here: Robert Lake Park, the Barn, Lookout Trail, the Wilbur Hoke Currie Craft Center, and more. In addition, gifts to the Montreat Fund allow growth in our mission and ministry through programming initiatives currently focused on congregational vitality, youth and young adult conferencing, and adult education.

On this Giving Tuesday, join us in celebrating generosity and the spirit of Thanksgiving!
