Become a Montreat Business Patron
Montreat established the Business Patrons program as a way for local and regional businesses to support the mission of the conference center while raising awareness of the goods and services they offer for Montreat community members and visitors.
Each year, Montreat Conference Center welcomes thousands of people—from nearby towns and across the country—to enjoy recreation, find spiritual renewal, build lasting relationships, and experience breathtaking natural beauty. These guests and visitors are also your potential customers.
Will you partner with us as a Business Patron by making a gift of $500 or more to the Montreat Fund each year? Click here to become a Business Patron.
As a non-profit organization, the conference center relies on broad community support to sustain our mission. The Montreat Fund is our top philanthropic priority every year, as these gifts provide collective, annual, unrestricted funding that makes the Montreat experience possible.
Celebrating Our Business Patrons
Montreat Conference Center recognizes Business Patrons in the following ways:
- Business Patron listing on our website
- Business Patrons brochure, featuring business logo and information, distributed in lodges and facilities
- Promotion in year-round Community Announcements weekly email
- Listing in "This Week In Montreat" weekly summer publication
- Business Patron decal to display at your business
Montreat's fiscal year runs from May 1 through April 30. Montreat Fund gifts must be received by April 30 to count toward the current fiscal year.
We have been Montreat Business Patrons since 2016, donating our gift quarterly. What we like about this great business-nonprofit partnership is how it helps us build relationships and be a closer part of this community. Because of the busy conference season, we get a boost of customers every summer and have the joy of seeing the same groups come to Phil’s year after year. It also doesn’t hurt to have them call us when they have catering needs!"
We have a long, family history with Montreat Conference Center. My first job was busing tables at Assembly Inn, and I later learned about customer service and hospitality from other jobs for the center. We love having Veranda be a Montreat Business Patron mostly because we love supporting local non-profits. We also see so many customers who come in telling us they are here visiting family or attending a conference in Montreat."
