The Master Planning Team at Work
In a series of meetings January 24-27, the newly appointed Master Planning Team for the Center for Faith and Life (CFL) has just set the stage for what promises to be a new and exciting direction for adult programming at Montreat Conference Center. In three non-stop days, under the guidance of Conference Center president Pete Peery and CFL Vice President Merri Bass, this team has hammered out blueprints for two 2011 signature conferences: a flagship conference in May 2011, featuring a compelling keynote speaker as well as workshops designed to enhance and spiritually challenge a broad spectrum of the greater community; and the Institute for Church Leadership in October 2011, which will be the umbrella event under which several timely conferences geared toward the needs of clergy and lay leaders in the church will run concurrently while sharing powerful and innovative plenary and worship leadership.
