This Sunday in Montreat

We are delighted to continue our Summer Worship Series in which leading preachers from across the country join with visual artists, musicians, and volunteers in a service of worship open to the surrounding community. All are welcome and all are invited.

All summer worship services take place in Anderson Auditorium at 10:30 am.

Preaching Sunday, July 30, 2023

Originally from Louisville, KY, Rev. Kate Murphy studied biology and music at DePauw University. She received her MDiv and MTS from Boston University. Kate moved to Charlotte in 2004, and in 2008, she became the pastor of The Grove Presbyterian Church. Her sermon draws on Ezekiel 37:1-10 and is titled "The Blessing We Fear."

Preaching Sunday, August 6, 2023

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Rev. Gail Henderson-Belsito has served Caldwell Memorial Presbyterian Church in Charlotte since graduating from Union Presbyterian Seminary in 2020. She has been a Women's Connection and Youth Conference leader in Montreat in recent years. Gail says, "Even though I love to teach, preach, and pray with people, I find my greatest joy in silence and solitude, with my journal and several pens in various colors close by." Her sermon draws on Isaiah 55 and is titled "With and in Joy."
