We're committed to making conference center programming as available as possible to all who wish to take part. Through our scholarship program, individuals may apply for financial assistance to cover a variety of expenses related to the conference center.
Montreat Conference Center’s General Scholarship Fund is available to anyone with financial need and, in most cases, covers program fees related to select conferences and retreats.

- Applicants must be an active part of the Christian church; members of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) will receive preferential consideration when funds are limited.
- Applicants must use awards for programs and activities offered exclusively by Montreat Conference Center.
- Applicants must have recommendation and approval from his/her pastor, presbytery executive or appropriate judiciary officer, seminary dean of academic affairs, or seminary president.
- Applicants must clearly explain need for financial assistance.
- Applications are considered on a rolling basis.

The Morgan Endowment is a permanent endowment that supports Montreat Youth Conferences by providing youth conference scholarships for those with financial need and funds for continuing development and promotion of the youth program at Montreat Conference Center. Scholarship covers, in most cases, program fee only.

The J. Randolph Taylor Fellows Program, established by the late Rev. Dr. J. Randolph Taylor and his wife, Arline, provides financial and lodging assistance to pastors, missionaries, seminary students, and other church professionals who are seeking rest and renewal through programs and activities at Montreat Conference Center.
- Applicants must be an active part of the Christian church; members of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) will receive preferential consideration when funds are limited.
- An applicant must be a church professional actively serving the church in a validated ministry; or an individual actively serving in a mission field; or a current PC(USA) student studying in a PC(USA) seminary program and recognized as a candidate under care for his/her presbytery.
- Applicants must use awards to seek rest and renewal through the programs and activities offered exclusively by Montreat Conference Center.
- Applications for participation in Montreat conferences and for other opportunities such as sabbatical or study leave are considered on a rolling basis.
- Please note that awards are not transferable to other participants or events without prior approval and verification.
