Meals/Food for Commuters

Please check out the Black Mountain Chamber of Commerce for a list of restaurants in Black Mountain.

A large Ingles grocery store is located about 3 miles away in Black Mountain for any participants wishing to cook.

Before You Register

We will offer online registration to request your conference spaces and housing. Housing requests will be processed in the order that we receive them until our facilities are full. After registering online, participants MUST either mail a check within 10 days of registering or provide credit card information when contacted by the conference registrar.

Attention Group Leaders: Here are a few things you will need to know before you register online:

• Basic contact information for your church, campus ministry, etc.
•  A head count. How many students and chaperones do you have? (Please note that the special comprehensive rate is available to all college students and the first two adults in your group. Additional adults will be charged an extra $100.)
• If possible, the number of female students, male students, female chaperones, male chaperones, and/or couple chaperones. This is helpful to us when placing you in our housing.
• Any special needs your group may have.

If your group is already registered and you need to make changes, please select "Group Additions/Cancelations" on the registration form.

Refund Policy

Before December 1, 2026, your fee(s) will be refunded less the $50 per person non-refundable deposit. After December 1, 2026, no refunds will be issued.

Schedule

This schedule may be subject to change.

Instead of Critical Conversation Groups this year, we are offering this time as a chance for “back home groups” (the people you're traveling with) to explore worship and keynote ideas together. If you’re registering as an individual, don’t worry! Just like in previous years, you’ll have a designated space and leader to help facilitate conversation and connection. A couple more notes about this trial schedule change: 

• For those who’d like some help filling this time, we’ll provide a back home leader guide with discussion questions and other ways to engage the theme. Our intent is to make this guide available ahead of time, to help you (or your student leaders!) be able to plan ahead as you wish. 

• If you are coming as a small group (less than 10 people) and would be interested in being paired with another smaller group for this time, please let us know when you register online and we will help make as many connections as we can. Of course, feel free to buddy up without our help too.  

Workshop Leader and Exhibitor

Workshop Leaders

College Conference is seeking workshop leaders to facilitate sessions from 2:00–3:15 pm on January 3 and January 4. In most cases, the same workshops are offered both days – if that’s not possible for you, please indicate so when you fill out the form. Note: there will be a mandatory meeting for workshop leaders after opening worship the evening of Saturday, January 2.  

All workshop proposals received by October 9 will be considered by the Event Team during their meeting that weekend. Proposals received after that will be considered by the team on a case by case basis.  

Workshop leaders, once selected, will have their conference registration fee waived. Room and board are not provided, but in an effort to offset a small portion of those costs, workshop leaders also receive a $100 stipend. To find out if on-site housing is available, contact our conference registrar Hope Barker.  

Exhibitors

Interested in sharing your program or organization with College Conference attendees? Here’s a little more information, and the form to apply for a table.   

College Conference does not have a separate exhibitor fee; however, we do ask that exhibitors pay for registration at the normal rate, as well as cover their own room and board. Exhibitors who are also selected as workshop leaders will still receive the $100 workshop leader stipend. 

Each exhibitor is provided with one 6-foot table and a neutral tablecloth. We cannot guarantee access to electrical outlets, and unfortunately there is not room for chairs at every table. If you have accessibility needs that require a place to sit, please let us know when you fill out the form and we’ll be sure to assign your table accordingly.

A few more details:

• While there's not a separate exhibitor fee, exhibitors are asked to cover their own conference registration, room and board, and travel.
• Exhibitors who are also accepted as Workshop Leaders are not eligible for the workshop leader stipend.
• We don't expect you to staff your table every minute of the event, but recommend high-traffic times like during registration and before and after keynotes and worships.
