Assembly Inn

Assembly Inn is the heart of connection at Montreat, offering everything your group needs for a seamless experience. With 10 meeting spaces, comfortable lodging, and shared meals all under one roof, it’s designed to bring people together. Whether you’re hosting a retreat, planning session, or multi-day conference, Assembly Inn fosters collaboration and community in a warm, welcoming environment. The Barn

Up to 300 guests

Known for hosting lively summer dances, the Barn is also an excellent choice for larger gatherings that need both seating and standing room. Its open layout and rustic charm create a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for community events, receptions, or informal meetings.

Freeland Hall

Freeland Hall offers two spacious meeting rooms ideal for larger groups seeking comfort and convenience. Located down the driveway from Assembly Inn, it provides easy access for guests and features accessible entryways for all attendees. This versatile building is perfect for workshops or breakout sessions, combining functionality with proximity to Montreat’s central amenities.

Belk Center at Left Bank

Belk Center at Left Bank, sits along Lake Susan in Montreat’s Central Campus. Its scenic setting makes it ideal for small retreats, art workshops, or intimate keynote sessions. With charm and flexibility, Left Bank offers a peaceful space for creativity and connection.

Moore Center

The striking mid-century building along Lake Susan’s banks is the Moore Center and is home to the Montreat Store and the Huckleberry Cafe. The meeting spaces in this location are perfect for workshops, planning sessions, or small conferences, offering convenience and comfort to all guests.

Walkup Building

Walkup Building offers a medium-sized meeting space a little ways from central campus—providing a quiet setting while remaining easily accessible for all mobility needs. Its adaptable layout can be divided into two smaller rooms, making it ideal for breakout sessions or collaborative gatherings. Perfect for groups seeking convenience and versatility in a peaceful location.

Wayout Building

Wayout Building offers a rustic, historic setting perfect for medium-sized gatherings that value privacy and focus. Its flexible layout includes additional breakout areas, making it ideal for retreats or collaborative sessions. While located uphill from most campus spaces, this venue provides a self-contained environment where groups can meet without interruption—combining character, functionality, and a sense of retreat.
