The Sitting Duck in The Huckleberry
Join Development staff in the newly renovated Huckleberry Cafe Thursday mornings from 9-11 am. Grab a complimentary cup of coffee and stay to chat or be on your way. The Sitting Duck will begin as soon as possible after renovations are completed in The Huckleberry!
Summer Staff Alumni Reunion
Sunday, July 3rd from 3-5 pm at the WNC Outdoor Collective.
We are so excited for the second year of our Summer Staff Alumni Reunion. This event is held at the WNC Outdoor Collective in Black Mountain from 3-5 pm and will be the Sunday before the 4th of July. The venue offers many beers and ciders on tap as well as wine and non-alcoholic beverages for you to purchase. Montreat will be providing a small snack table. It is a family-friendly space with table games and cornhole and you are welcome to bring your family with you. An RSVP will be sent out in May.
Fourth of July
Join us Monday, July 4th for Montreat's annual celebration of Independence Day. A full day's schedule is forthcoming. Popsicles will be provided by the Office of Development on Moore Center Field from 2-4 pm during field game activities.
Montreat Fund Patrons Reception
Saturday, July 16, 5-7 pm: Food Trucks on Moore Center Field
The annual Montreat Fund Patrons Reception will be held on Moore Center Field and Anderson Lawn from 5-7 pm on Saturday, July 16th, 2022. Many food options will be available for you to purchase, including appetizers, snacks, full meals, and dessert. Montreat will provide beverages, lawn games, and a tent with seating (even bigger than last year's!). This is a family-friendly event and your children and grandchildren are invited to attend. An RSVP will be emailed in June, we look forward to seeing you this summer!
Montreat Fund Gateway Society Event
Saturday, August 6, 4:30-6:30 pm: Wine and Cheese in Upper Anderson
This is a new event to celebrate Montreat Fund donors who give at the Gateway Society level ($1200) and above. The event will be held in Upper Andrson from 4:30-6:30 pm on Saturday, August 6th, 2022. We hope you will enjoy this opportunity to connect with friends new and old over a glass of wine and charcuterie. Invitations will be mailed in June.
