As a family member or guardian of a child who was in Clubs in 2022, you may not have known it at the time, but you experienced the impact of the Montreat Fund! The Montreat Fund accounts for 13% of Montreat Conference Center's operating budget and helps pay for everything from salaries in the Program Office to the woodchips in Robert Lake Park. Without the Montreat Fund, the Clubs and Childcare program would not be possible and for that, we have our Montreat Fund Patrons to thank. If you're interested in making a tax-deductible donation and becoming a Montreat Fund Patron there are many Ways to Give, including by check, from a Donor Advised Fund, or through a stock transfer. Activity Details
Tennis or Pickleball
Tennis - If you would like to play Tennis you must reserve a court in advance by calling (828) 357-8556. Your postcard entitles you to one session for two people. Sessions are for 1 hour and additional players would cost $3 per person. The Patricia Cornwell Tennis Courts are located at 317 Texas Rd and are open seven days a week 10 am-2 pm and 3:30-6 pm.
Pickleball - If you would like to play Pickleball, sessions are every Monday and Friday throughout the summer from 10:30 am-1 pm. Your postcard entitles you to one session for two people, additional players would cost $3 per person. Email development@montreat.org for more information.
Swimming
The Montreat Pool is located behind Dunn Pavilion on Texas Road (click for directions). The Montreat Pool is spring fed and is naturally as cold as the creeks that run through the valley. Your postcard entitles you to one afternoon for two people, additional guests would be $5 per person and children under 3 are free. For more information, call 828.357.5031.
POOL UPDATE 6/29/23:
Due to staffing limitations, the Montreat pool will remain closed on Sundays. The pool is now open Monday thru Saturday to the public from 1-6 pm.
