MONTREAT, NC — In March 2025, Ten Thousand Villages closed their corporately held locations leaving their Montreat space vacant. After carefully evaluating the space throughout the summer and fall of 2025, the conference center is excited to announce The Good Steward—a new retail experience opening in June 2026. The Good Steward is an extension of The Montreat Store and a mission of Montreat Conference Center.
