Anticipation is building for this year’s Women’s Connection conference, and we couldn’t be more excited about what lies ahead. Women from across the country are already making plans to gather in Montreat for a time of worship, learning, and meaningful connection. With an inspiring theme and a remarkable group of leaders joining us on stage, Women’s Connection 2026 promises to be a space for reflection, renewal, and shared hope. Today, we’re delighted to share more about this year’s theme and introduce the rest of our conference leaders.
Horizon Gazing: Hope in the Here and Now

During this year’s Women’s Connection conference, we invite you to join us on a journey of faith that calls us beyond the chaos of daily life to soul-steadying truth. From personal struggles to a fractured political climate to everyday worries and responsibilities, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Yet, in the midst of everything, God continues to invite us to lift our eyes, to find hope. Join us in the quiet beauty of Montreat to experience “Horizon Gazing: Hope in the Here and Now.”
As in years past, this event will give women of all ages the opportunity to slow down, find their footing, and look toward the horizon of faith with authentic hope. We’ll consider what it looks like to “raise our gaze,” exploring new perspectives as we share our burdens, hopes, and dreams with one another. All of this, of course, grounded in times of worship and study centered on God’s faithful presence.
New Leaders Added to the Lineup!

In addition to our keynoter, Kristen Kobes Du Mez, we will be joined by a number of other outstanding faith leaders. Khalia J. Williams, associate dean of worship and spiritual formation, associate professor in the practice of worship, and co-director of the Baptist studies program at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, will join us as the preacher for this event. Our plenary speaker will be Jihyun Oh, stated clerk of the General Assembly and executive director of the Interim Unified Agency of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Music will be provided by Betsy Homer, Camille Core, and Emily Kampras. Betsy serves as the senior director for Worship, Arts, & Programs at Roswell Presbyterian Church in Roswell, Georgia, Camille is a vocalist based in the metro-Atlanta area, and Emily Kampras serves as the ministry assistant for discipleship and as a choral fellow also at Roswell Presbyterian Church. Last, but certainly not least, Cantey Smith, an award-winning educator and artist, will serve as the conference artist for this event. We invite you to read more about each of these leaders by clicking here.
